Chu, Pao-Kuei (Paul)
Independent Supervisor of Yuanta Core Pacific Securities Mr. Chu is the founder and the chairman of the Chinese Taipei Corporate Governance Association. In 1966, he was the top candidate in the CPA license examination. For more than twenty years, Paul Chu acted as a managing partner at KPMG Taiwan and he was also the only Taiwanese board member of KPMG International. His extensive professional activities have included serving as a managing director of the Financial Executive Institute of ROC, Director of the Chinese Tax Research Association, and commissioner for the Finance and Banking Committee at the Organization for the Promotion of Industrialand Commercial Cooperation. In addition, Mr. Chu's experience includes serving as a commissioner for the OTC Evaluation Committee, the Finance and Taxation Group of the Economic
Reform Committee of the Executive Yuan and the Tax Reform Committee of the Ministry of Finance.
